FAQ — Photo Album Order Formulation

To order photo album design on Hundred Pics Service, please follow the instructions below.

Order Creation
Enter your newly created project. In order to create album/albums within this project, find and fill in the field box under “New project” bar. You can create as many albums as you require for that project

Tip: as usual, our clients, photographers, order separate wedding albums for newly married couple and their parents, friends,grandparents; sport event albums for coach and team members, etc. All defends on the event proper cap tured on the photos nd your clients’ wishes. As a result, the amount of photo albums within each project may vary.

Filling that field box, you should name the album, specify its number of spreads/pages, size, and choose the style of the album to be designed in regarding wishes and requirements of your clients.

Tip: working with photographers for some time, we noticed that different clients have different requirements to their photo album designs. It depends on the fact to whom this album is created for. For instance, wedding albums for newly married couple and their parents greatly differ. Newly married couple always prefers some dynamic style of album design choosing bright and original photos with special moments captured. While parents prefer classic style and photos with relatives and family’s friends captured.

Hundred Pics offers a wide variety of design style solutions, information of which you can find at the website.
By means of mini player situated to the right of order field box, you can view samples of each style.
Having filled all required fields in the order box and having created one album, you can create one more album/albums within this project by clicking the “Create next album”. Repeat the procedure as many times as you need.
After creating required amount of albums within this project, click the “Create” button – that would mean that you have finished the stage of order creation.

Regarding all album parameters (size and number of spreads/pages) you mentioned while creating new album/albums, total project cost is automatically calculated.

Despite of all this detailed description, the procedure of order creation is rather simple and lasts for about few minutes.

Due to Hundred Pics policy after creation of a new project and needed amount of albums within this project, you are to make 50% payment up front as described below.

Payment Procedure

HundredPics Payment Policy is based on the following conditions. We require 50% of the estimated project cost up front.

All payments are carried out in two stages:
First, you shall prepay the first half of estimated project cost after creation of a new project and needed amount of albums within it.
Second, you shall pay the rest of the estimated project cost after work on your project is finished and album/albums design is approved.

All payments are carried out on the Hundred Pics website via PayPal payment system. In the process of payment, Hundred Pics does not receive any personal or financial information about you or your clients. That is why we guarantee full confidentiality of your data while working with our digital service.

We do not offer refund for that 50 % upfront payment as it includes charges for the following services: uploading photo images to HundredPics server, size and format conversion of loaded images, basic photo retouching and further work on photo album processing and its design concepts realization.

Photo Images Upload

It is obvious that each photo album is designed with the help of certain photo images dedicated to some event. Therefore, next stage concerns photo images loading.
Please, follow the procedure below.
In upload files box, click “Browse” button to choose photos from your computer.

In pop-up window, you will see all images you store on your computer or other inline portable devices such as disks, USB drives, etc).
Choose photos you want to be included in photo album design and click “Open” button.

Note that you cannot upload folders of images. First, you should open the folder and then upload needed images. If needed images are contained in different folders, please follow the above procedure until all files are uploaded to the Hundred Pics service.

While choosing files to your photo album, please pay attention to supported file types. Find information about it by clicking Files of type box.
Having uploaded all needed images, you may check its list and delete those you uploaded by mistake or accidentally. Then by clicking “Upload” button, begin the process of files loading.

During the process of files loading, keep your browser open. Alternatively, the loading process will terminate.
If due to some reasons, you had prematurely terminated the loading process and now want to upload the rest of images or if you decide to upload additional pictures to the current project a little bit later, do the following. Click “Upload images” link, which you can find in the right bottom of general project page (to open it, just double click on the name of needed project in your projects list).

Please, before start working on photos layout, check whether all photos were uploaded to the Hundred Pics service. For that purpose, enter your project, then album within it and check uploaded photos list. If some files are missing, please upload them additionally (see above mentioned procedure).

Note that speed of files loading may directly depend on technical characteristics of your Internet connection as Hundred Pics uses its technical opportunities in full.

Tip: working with photographers for some time, we also noticed that total amount of photos dedicated to one event can be quite huge and reach for about thousands of pictures.
Note: Despite of all improved technical opportunities of Hundred Pics service, we strongly advise you to preselect photos (you want to be included into the album design) on your computer and only then upload them to Hundred Pics service. Please do not select pictures with technical and composition artifacts. This will make your work with Hundred Pics easier and faster.

To develop creative and beautiful photo album, we use from 8 up to 16 photos per one spread depending on the style chosen for the photo album.
Please regard this fact while uploading files to Hundred Pics service.

Hundred Pics service provides you with opportunity to invite your clients as guests to certain project and involve them into the process of album design creation.

That is why all further instructions and explanations of Hundred Pics functions are considered not only for you as a photographer but for your project guests (your clients) as well.
